爽創館は平成25年度に実施された教育学部美術・技術教室棟の改修工事にともない教育研究機能の充実と文化創造の観点から展示スペースを作ることになり「ART AND TECH EXHIBITION LAB 爽創館」が平成26年3月にオープンしました。
令和７年度より新たに「Art and Technology Laboratory 爽創館」と改称しました。

Following renovation work on the Faculty of Education’s Art and Technology Building in fiscal year 2013, an exhibition space was created from the perspectives of enhancing educational research functions and cultural creation, and the “ART AND TECH EXHIBITION LAB Sosōkan” opened in March 2014.
From fiscal year 2025, it has been newly renamed “Art and Technology Laboratory Sosōkan.”
