Philosophy of the Faculty of Education
The philosophy of our faculty is to nurture specialized educators who have high academic standing, noble character and good teaching qualities through academic studies relating to the development of personality.

Teachers should be highly qualified as specialists and have a firm sense of mission and a fine personality to serve as educators. Always trying to improve themselves, they should try to understand the students, as well as the principle of education. They should also have good scholastic ability in their specific subject and excellent teaching skill. Therefore, the aim of our faculty is concentrated on nurturing specialized academic people who have excellent discernment and teaching ability in the education of preschool children, elementary and secondary school children and disabled children, as well as being enthusiastic about education of these children, which is the basis of human education.

Furthermore, the Faculty of Education carries greatly diversified social missions in this internationalized and information-oriented society, where people have become aware of the importance of lifelong education. So, we also aim at nurturing academically talented people who can bring their educational elements and specialized ability into full play in a diverse range of fields in the society, using their acquired special knowledge and practical skills and abilities.

Philosophy of the Graduate School
